Engineering Department
Our engineering department, along with tooling department is at the hearth of I.M.V. S.p.A.
Phase 1
All dies and tools are designed using CAD 3D systems and molding simulators.
All studies on dies and tools required to obtain the products are developed within our engineering department.
Phase 2
After the design phase, the next step is the samples construction phase in our workshop. The tooling department is equipped with CNC lathes, plunge and wire electrical discharge machines, grinding and milling machines.
IMV continues in the development of green concept solutions, developing and manufacturing high thickness burner caps (7 mm) up to now made by household appliance manufacturers in cast iron.
Thanks to the combined action of these two key departments IMV is able to fulfil any requests not only as a mere part supplier but as an actual partner who can study and suggest how to reach an higher competitiveness.
